The deployment of the global multi-layer telecommunications platform 'emergency.lu' is starting to be a vital leading-edge solution for the humanitarian community at large.

This is really great support for us to move forward the humanitarian work in this difficult place. The internet system here in Maban made our work and live better. Thank you so much again for this great support.
Randhi (Relief International)
System is very good and it is really a useful and important tool for field work for organizations starting operations. Thanks for this.
Antaro (IOM)
It is an excellent programme and we feel happy as one is connected to Internet. Being a global system it has helped all agencies registered to have proper communication with their headoffice and the world. It has helped the NGO's to coordinate their work in a more faster manner.
Lucy (World Food Programme)
VSAT system enabled normal workflow, exchange of information and reporting. Without continuous access to internet our work will be tremendously difficult.
It assist also numerous international agencies present in Maban, who come to UNHCR compound to send emails and reports. So it is a vital support for which I am grateful.
Popovic (UNHCR)
I have no words to thank your good office for the provision / sharing of the internet service with all INGOs as well for RI. Late were using the internet for our daily activities (work and to communicate with our families). If this is not around I don't know how we can manage the current situation. So I would like to thank you so much for your generous gift and support for RI as well other NGOs.
Thank you!
Berneet (Relief International)
I would like to say thank you to emergency.lu and ETC for the Internet services provided for us. It has had a great impact on our daily work. Before we had to go to the Commissioner place to get power and internet connection. They only use solar panel and the internet goes often down. Now we can communicate with our offices, get security updates and get and send minutes. It has improved our capabilities a lot and without I think many of us might have given up...
David (CASI)
I would like to say thank you to emergency.lu. I really appreciate the Internet service. We are now able to communicate with our offices, coordinate the cluster work and get security updates. Before we had only had our cellphones to communicate with and it was not reliable. I also appreciate that Internet is wireless and provided within the entire compound.
Sunday (UNHCR)
It has really helped us to deal with logistics issues, communicate with HQ and to coordinate our activities. It is a real timesaver since we have a constant flow of information. Another example is procurement which is much easier to deal with via email than over the unstable cellphone network. Concerning security, without internet connection we would easily be subject to rumors. It also helps us communicate back home to our families which is important.
Rebecca and Mike (ARC)
The Internet Service has had a positive impact on our job here. Earlier we had difficulties sending reports. In need to be able to send security reports to HQ and to get quick decisions from there. It also helps me to contact all people on the ground here in Pibor. Before we only had cellphones to only rely on. It is also very good to be able to send feedback to my family, so they know I am ok. I have even been able to communicate with my bank back home - so I am not isolated anymore, I am in a global village.
